 Deborah Ann Dixon passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 in Sandstone, Minnesota at the age of 42 years. She was born November 3, 1967 in Robbinsdale, Minnesota to Don and Charlene (Jensen) Moore. She grew up in northeast Minneapolis and attended Minneapolis Public Schools. She worked as a corrections officer for the State of Minnesota until she was in a car accident in 2007. Deborah loved going to garage sales to find treasures, especially containers and bottles. She also enjoyed scrapbooking. She rode a Harley and went to rallies. She loved tattoos, especially the ones of her four children. Another of Debbie’s enjoyments was hosting family get-togethers on the 4th of July and spending time with family and friends. She loved animals and the strays found her.She is survived by two daughters, Dustine Rose Dixon (age 16) and Daisy Philomena Dixon (age 13); twin boys, Nickolas Kenneth and Jacob Donald Dixon (age 5), all of Minnesota; her parents, Don and Charlene Moore of Bruno; brother, Scott (Janine) Moore of Minneapolis; nephew, Theodore Moore and niece, Delaney Moore, both of Minneapolis. A Memorial service for Deborah A. Dixon was held Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Evangelical Free Church in Sandstone with Pastor Gary Nelson officiating. Katie Williams was organist. Sampo Beach Association will hold their annual Mojakka DaySaturday, September 11th from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. In addition to the Mojakka lunch there will be music by Mae and Marie, a quilt raffle, bake table, door prizes and flea market.
