Students to perform in upcoming one-act performances

One Act performers

The Moose Lake High School auditorium is the site for two student one-act play performances on January 21 at 6:35 pm. Drama students from the Moose Lake-Willow River High School troupe will present, “Making Nice,” a one-act play written by Alan Haehnel and directed by Lonnie Hagen. “Making Nice” is a comedy from beginning to end.
The Barnum High School drama club will present, “The Rude Mechanicals,” written by Ed Graczyk and directed by Sue Hornseth. It is an adaptation of the final act of Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”
Admission (at the door) to the performances on January 21 is $3.00 for students and $4.00 for adults. The community is encouraged to attend the show.
On Saturday, January 23, the drama students compete at the Minnesota High School One-Act Play Contest. The Moose Lake-Willow River and Barnum troupes will repeat their performances during the Evening of One-Acts on Friday, January 29, at the Barnum High.
