Izzac James Ophus, 7 months, of Cloquet died Thursday, July 16, 2009 in the Community Memorial Hospital in Cloquet. He was born on December 16, 2008 in St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth to Brett Ophus and Rhea Dobosenski.

Izzac was greatly loved and will be deeply missed by his parents, Brett and Rhea of Cloquet; sisters, Madison and Brooklyn; maternal grandparents, Darla Liimatainen of Cloquet and Jeff Dobosenski of Sturgeon Lake; paternal grandparents, Ann (Don) Kogler of East Bethel and Stephen Ophus of Barnum; maternal great-grandparents, Marilyn Kiehl of Cloquet, Don (Barb) Dobosenski of Carlton; paternal great-grandmother, Florence Brewster of Siren, WI; four aunts; five uncles; seven cousins and many other relatives.

Izzac will always be our little baby boy. We will always remember him and the joy his smile brought us!

Visitation: 1:00 until the 2:00 p.m. funeral service on Monday, July 20, 2009 in the Sawyer Chapel. Burial will be in the Sawyer Cemetery in Sawyer Township. Arrangements entrusted to Atkins-Northland Funeral Home, Cloquet.

The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Minnesota sponsors free support groups for families who have a relative with a mental illness.  A family support group meets in Cloquet at 6:00 p.m., on the third Friday of the month, at the Outreach Center, 24 10th St..  For information, call Kevin or Carol at 218-384-9956.
