On Friday, September 25th, the Home Study/Extension Education Groups of Carlton County will take a ride on the North Shore Scenic Railroad. The day will start at 10:30 am for a breakfast at Valentini’s restaurant on London Rd. in Duluth.

After that, we will continue on to the Depot to board the Scenic Railroad train. The cost for this event is $12 for the train and the cost of your lunch. Please call the Extension Office to pre-register and for more information. 218-384-3511

The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Minnesota sponsors free support groups for families who have a relative with a mental illness. A family support group meets in Cloquet at 6:00 p.m., on the third Friday of the month, at the Outreach Center, 24 10th St.. For information, call Kevin or Carol at 218-384-9956.
