For those of you who may be new to the area, the Cromwell-Wright School publishes a Bus Bulletin, which is sent home with the students, each Friday which can be picked up at the school or area businesses to keep up on what’s going on at school and the community.  You may also want to put information on the Bus Bulletin by calling the school or emailing the info by Friday morning at 8 or 9 AM.

Last Sunday, the 20th, I took a bus to the Twins game at the Metrodome.  This was the third game with the Tigers and they just couldn’t pull out another win.  It was fun to see them live, but sure would have been much more fun to get a win.  The first two games had been wins and were really exciting, but that’s the way the ball bounces I guess!

Remember, if you have any news for this column, please call, send a note or email me with your information.

So, here’s my Limerick for the week:   I went to a Minnesota Twins Game,  Folks from miles around us came.  They got a few hits,  They even caught the balls in their mitts,  But the loss was really a shame.

That’s all the news from Lake GoTwinsgowinwinwin and Hello to all the parents of our local students and the home school kids and their parents, too!

Lauren found her dream laptop. Find the PC that’s right for you.

The Carlton County Retired Educators will be meeting at the Country Inn in Cromwell on Tuesday, September 29th at 11:30 AM for lunch and then going up to the new Cardinal Court for their meeting, tour and a visit with Julie Peterson, administrator of the new facility.  All area retired teachers, administrators, and school staff are invited to join the CCRE.  They meet 2 times a year and their main goal is to volunteer to keep the Little Red Schoolhouse open at the Carlton County Fair.  Just call me for further information at 357-2385.
