U.S. travel officials who are members of the National Association of Travel Organizations... voted the Lake Superior North Shore Drive into a tie for second place in a poll to determine the most scenic of all of Ameria’s major highways. 25 Years AgoAuction gains $27,000 for fish An auction of confiscated hunting and fishing equipment held by the Department of Natural Resources in St. Paul August 25 resulted in the sale of some 400 items and produced nearly $27,000 for the State Game and Fish Fund. DNR Enforcement officials estimated that 400-500 persons attended the auction which was held in the St. Paul National Guard Armory.
