The Great Adventure

The Moose Lake United Methodist Church welcomes the Great Adventure Gospel Band to its sanctuary Sunday, October 18. The band will perform during the congregation’s Sunday service with a concert immediately following.

All are invited to enjoy coffee bars at 9:45 a.m. and then the Great Adventure band beginning at 10:25 a.m. The band will offer a concert immediately following the regular worship hour.

A fun-loving performing group from Braham, Minnesota, the Great Adventure Gospel Band loves to sing and play gospel music. The band’s nine performers are all members of one family! David and Kris Garms and seven of their eight children, ranging in age from six to eighteen, all play at least one instrument to accompany the family harmony.

Great Adventure has appeared at the Minnesota State Fair Talent Contest and numerous area community and church events. With a varied repertoire including gospel bluegrass, Southern gospel, a capella, and traditional hymns, this endearing family will inspire you.

The Moose Lake United Methodist Church is located at the corner of Third Street and Cedar Avenue in Moose Lake. More information can be found online at www.mooselakeumc.com, or by calling 218-485-4605.
