John Thomas Bonner, 74, of Finlayson, died Saturday, October 10, 2009 in Mercy Health Care Center, Moose Lake. He was born March 30, 1935 in Denver, CO to John and Eleanor (Mae) Bonner. John a veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Korean Conflict. John moved from the Twin Cities to Finlayson upon his retirement. He enjoyed bird watching, hunting, fishing and anything outdoors.

John is preceded in death by his parents.

John is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Bonner of Austin, TX; son, Nelson (Liisa) Bonner of Seattle, WA; 2 grandchildren, Mitchell and Eleanor Bonner; sister, Mary Johnson of Shoreview; 2 nephews, Jeff and Eric Johnson; very special friends, Greg and Dee Koivisto of Finlayson.

At John’s request, no services will be held.
