This information along with that of47 other tree species is available through the epartment of Natural Resources in a report called “Big Tree Hunt.” The report lists both State and National champions along with their dimensions and location.

Study shows living near casino increases risk of gambling problems


The recently released “Gambling Impact and Behavior Study” a report to the National Gambling Impact STudy Cmmission found that about 2.5% of adults are problem or pathological gamblers. Significant to this region the report further stated “the availability of a casino within 50 miles (versus 50 to 250 miles) is associated with about double the prevalence of problem and pathological gamblers.”
