| Sheriff’s Report: Tussle with guns involved |

On November 8th , 2009 at approximately 10:55 P.M. Carlton County Dispatch received a report of an assault and a male outside the residence that was now shooting a handgun. Deputies and Officers responded to the reported address in the 6200 block of Co Rd. #129 in Automba Township in Carlton County. Deputies from the Carlton County Sheriffs Office responded and were assisted by Officers from the Moose Lake Police Department, Fond-du-lac Police Department and the Minnesota State Patrol. Upon the officers arrival at the property a male with a handgun was located outside the residence. Statements made by parties at the residence confirmed that a physical assault had taken place and that the handgun was displayed during that assault. As a result of the investigation that night two males were taken into custody at the residence. Kailo Alton Aho who is 33 years of age and Milton Duane Aho who is 60 years of age. Both parties have been charged with Felony level crimes by the Carlton County Attorney’s Office and had their initial arraignment today November 10th, 2009 at the Carlton County Courthouse. At this time we are not looking for any other suspects or victims in this case, but the investigation into the incident is ongoing. There is no further information to release at this time. Sgt.
