Sandstone Free Church to Host Christmas Concert Event

On Sunday evening, December 6, 2009 at 7:00 p.m., the Sandstone Evangelical Free Church will be hosting a Christmas concert by area musical group Voice of Hope. This trio, comprised of Becky Pemberton (Moose Lake), Dianna Sandstrom (Sturgeon Lake), and Barbara Bell (Barnum) will certainly help to set the mood for the holidays.

Their music includes a combination of old favorites and new releases and their rich harmonies and stage antics are sure to make the evening one you won’t soon forget.

The concert is free, however, we are asking that you bring non-perishable items to donate to the local food shelf. Refreshments will be served in the fellowship hall following the concert.

Plan now to take a break from your hectic holiday schedule and join us on Sunday evening, December 6, 2009 at the Sandstone Evangelical Free Church at 7:00. The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Minnesota sponsors free support groups for families who have a relative with a mental illness. A family support group meets in Cloquet at 6:00 p.m., on the third Friday of the month, at the Outreach Center, 24 10th St.. For information, call Kevin or Carol at 218-384-9956.
