Rebels comeback to crunch Agates

The Moose Lake-Willow River Rebels girls basketball fell behind 19-22 at halftime, but came back with a 40-19 second half to crunch the Two Harbors Agates 59-41 on Mon., Dec. 21. The Rebels put three girls in double figures, comapred to the Agates with only one to reach double digits.
Natasha Dragicevich, with the Rebels only three-pointers, scored a team high and co-game high 15 points. Maddy Adamczak had 11 points. Kathryn Coil scored 10 poinhts. Rachel Mach had nine points. Taryn Davis and Peggy Stepan scored six points each. Katie Youngberg added two points.

Abby Ray had 15 points, including all three of the Agates’ three-pointers, to paced Two Harbors.
Barnum crushes Crusaders

The Barnum Bombers crushed the New Life Academy Crusaders in a road game by the score of 59-31 on Tues., Dec. 22. Katrina Newman notched aother double-duble as she scored 29 points and dragged down a dozen rebounds. Newman added eight steals to lead that category as well.
Jessica Newman playeda very solid all-around game with seven rebounds, five steals and three assists. Katie Myhre had six points, five rebounds and five assists. Claire Rodgers had six points and five steals. Sarah Myhre added four points, eights rebunds, five steals and four assists. Jenna Zmyslony added three points.
