Due to the complex nature of bidding this type of apparatus, specification sheets are available from the office of Materials Management at Mercy Hospital. Vendors have permission to include an exception/explanation addendum to their bid document. Bids will be received up to and until 10:00 am, February 19, 2010. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 10:05 AM in Community Room # 2 at Mercy Hospital. No other public comment on bid results will be made until official award of bid by Mercy Hospital Board of Directors. STURGEON LAKE TOWNSHIP NOTICES FOR THE FOLLOWING TOWNSHIP MEETINGS AND ELECTION: ALL TO BE HELD ON THE 9TH DAY OF MARCH, 2010: ANNUAL TOWNSHIP ELECTION, ANNUAL TOWNSHIP MEETING BOARD OF CANVASS, AND THE QUALIFICATION MEETING The annual township election will be held on the 9th day of March,2010. The polls will open at 4:00 p.m. and remain open until 8:00 p.m.. Offices up for election: one supervisor for a three year Term. And one clerk for a two year term .. When the polls have closed, the ballots will be processed. The annual townsidp meeting will commence at 8:15 p.m.: The agenda for the annual township meeting:* Budget for the township’s fiscal year of 2011.
**** The City of Sturgeon Lake Fire Department is proposing a significant increase in our cost for fire protection. For example, the Township paid $6,700.00 for fire protection in 2009. In 2010, our fire protection will increase to $12,700.00. Over the next four years the township will experience significant increases for our cost of fire protection. In five years our projected cost of fire protection will be $20.000.00. Please come to the annual Township meeting to discuss this matter. We must work together to determine a fair and equitable cost for fire protection.
Review the status of work completed by the township in 2009. Discuss any or all Township business for the March 9th, 2010, annual Township meeting. When all of the Township’s business has been completed make a motion to adjourn the March 9th, 2010, annual Township meeting. When all of the annual township’s business has adjourned. the board of canvass will commence to review the outcome of the march 9th, 2010, annual township election. When this has Been completed, the board of canvass will adjourn. After the board of canvass has adjourned, the township’s Qualification meeting will commence. All the elected Officers will take their oath for the office they were Elected to. When the business for the qualification meeting Is completed, the qualification meeting will be adjourned. If there is inclement weather on march 9th, 2010, and the annual township election and annual Township meeting, the board of canvass, and the qualification meeting will be held the following Tuesday: March 16th, 2,010. Notice is hereby given to all qualified voters of Pine Lake Township, County of Pine, and State of Minnesota, that the Annual Election of Town Officers and Annual Meeting will be held on Tuesday March 9th, 2010.
